What is Auto Top-up?

We have made it way simpler and more intuitive to Top-up Ledn Loans.  The introduction of Auto Top-up will remove the need for Ledn clients having to manually monitor and manage their loans’ status during times of Bitcoin price volatility.

Ledn clients can now activate Auto Top-up for Ledn Loans.

Why Does Auto Top-Up Matter?

Ledn issued Canada's first Bitcoin backed loan in 2018. Since then, we've enabled people globally to finance their Bitcoin to pay for tuition, buy their first car, or even buy a house without having to sell their hard-earned BTC. And even though Bitcoin grew into a trillion dollar plus asset class during that time, it can still experience sizable price movements. Auto Top-up marks a new chapter for Bitcoin Loans at Ledn.

How Does Auto Top-Up Work?

When turned on, our system will automatically transfer funds from the client's BTC Savings to their loan collateral's address whenever the loan reaches 70% LTV; thus, bringing a healthier LTV back.

With this all-new feature, Ledn clients can now breathe easy by activating Auto Top-up on any open loan(s). Our loan clients can now travel, commute, work, and sleep with peace of mind thanks to Auto Top-up! 🙌
